Hend-Co-Hills is an 18 hole, semi-private golf course and campground located in west-central Illinois. The facilities are open to the public 7 days a week and memberships are available. The original 9 holes, driving range, and campground were established in 1970, with the back 9 opened for play in 2002.

Our Mission is to be the best golf value in western Illinois and eastern Iowa. This shall be achieved through excellent customer service, quality products, and competitive prices.

Hend-Co-Hills is conveniently located on US Highway 34, just west of Biggsville, Illinois. The facility is best known for its well-kept greens and its fun, friendly down-home atmosphere. The membership is very diverse which creates a unique camaraderie. Hend-Co-Hills notably the home golf course of 2004 British Open Champion Todd Hamilton. Todd is an Oquawka, Illinois native and grew up playing the original 9 hole golf course.

The golf course is both challenging and fun to play. It hosts a wide variety of tournaments and golf outings throughout the season. The front and back nines offer different challenges and sceneries. The front 9 is longer and more open than the back 9. It has gently rolling hills, generous fairways, and large undulating greens. The front 9 is ideal for beginners and junior golfers but has enough length to challenge better players. The back nine is shorter, but more challenging than the front 9. It has narrower fairways, more trees, and the South Henderson Creek comes into play on four occasions. The scenery on the back nine is outstanding.

Hend-Co-Hills has a fully stocked golf Pro-Shop and is staffed by PGA Golf Professionals and apprentices to serve all you golfing needs. From beginners to advanced players, the golf shop carries a wide variety of equipment at discount prices. We will match any competitor’s advertised price. The Pro Shop also stocks apparel, footwear, balls, gloves, and a variety of accessories. Gift Certificates and online shopping are available.

Hend-Co-Hills also has a campground located along the banks of the South Henderson Creek. It is a tranquil, beautiful setting. There are 30 campsites with water and electric hookups. 12 of the sites are pull-through sites and the rest are pull-in or back-in sites. There is a dump-station available for campers. The dump-station is adjacent to the centrally located bathhouse. The bathhouse is well kept and is open to all campers. There is also a pond stocked with a variety of species for those campers who enjoy fishing.

Banquet facilities are available for parties up to 150 people. The setting is very casual and fees vary depending on the type and length of the event. We do cater food or you may use your own caterer for your event. All beverages much be purchased from Hend-Co-Hills. Whatever your banquet needs, we can offer you an affordable facility for your event. Banquet reservation requests are available online.
